The Project

Redefine the way work will get done, address key industry mobility challenges and spark true mobile-led business change—grounded in four core capabilities:

• a new class of more than 100 industry-specific enterprise solutions including native apps, developed exclusively from the ground up, for iPhone and iPad;

• unique IBM cloud services optimized for iOS, including device management, security, analytics and mobile integration;

• new AppleCare® service and support offering tailored to the needs of the enterprise;  and  

• new packaged offerings from IBM for device activation, supply and management.

My role and key contributions

As a Managing Consultant for IBM, I was required to orchestrate global design workshops for the Apple + IBM Partnership and led cross-functional teams in the development of 12 industry-specific mobile applications, resulting in an average 40% uptick in client engagement and a 30% acceleration in app development cycles.

- Facilitated visual design and strategy for mobile app development, from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with client needs and market demands.

The Satisfaction

At the end of the day, my work with the alliance has proven to be one of the most transformational design experiences that I’ve had. From the attention to detail applied to understanding users to the presence of talented developers who can make almost anything possible, it was an amazing experience to see dozens of industries change the way they work based on work I contributed to.
